Gah, I’m feeling rather flu-ish at the moment. Not Swine-flu-ish, mind you, just regular flu-ish. I’ve been stricken with incredible lethargy in my post-work hours this week as a result. As such, don’t expect any weekend posting I make to be as significant in size as the previous weeks, though I do have at least something done.

Anyway, onto todays comic – there’s probably four different ways you can take it.

Firstly, the return of a random running joke (good lord, and you thought my current art was janky ^^; ). Not that anyone can remember these things from that long back.

Secondly, I’m taking a queue from Nyoron Churuya-san, in that I’m ending the comic with a “Nyoron” panel and just hoping that it’s kind of funny out of the sheer randomness of it. Not that Nyoron, Churuya-san is completely devoid of humour, but it does seem to me that about half the gags aren’t really gags…

Thirdly, maybe Sakura is actually saying Nyoron in her own, unique, garbage-spouting genius way. Probably not, though.

Finally, it could just be me wanting to put Sakura (from Sora Kake) in a comic. I can’t say that Sakura actually rates that highly on my list of favourite characters from the show, but she does seem to have popped up on the site on a number of occasions recently. It’s one of those self-perpetuating things I think – I had a specific reason to draw her to begin with, by which point I could remember roughly what her character design is, therefore it increases the likelihood that she’ll end up on one of my random doodles, further cementing her design in my head.

I think the second is probably most likely here.

Oh, and in response to Authors post the other day, when I think of the word Audition in a quasi-Anime related fashion, I think of iDOLM@STER ^^;
