I watched the first 20th Century Boys movie this evening. Well, I should probably pretend it was yesterday evening, given that this is technically Mondays comic, although I’m posting it on Sunday, but whatever.

Anyway, pretty decent movie, though I can’t particularly say I’d want to be watching it without any prior knowledge of the manga. Then again, much of the material in the early parts of the manga is kind of hard to follow in places anyway, and by design at that, and whilst there is quite a bit of material that was dropped for the movie, it’s otherwise tremendously faithful to the source.
