Well, you get the idea. With all the head-exploding and trouser, errr, brownificating surrounding the new episode of Haruhi actually materialising, it would seem like a pretty opportune moment for space squid Chairman Kadokawa to conquer the world.

Not that I’ve proved to be immune to all this Haruhi chatter – I have to admit, the reason why this post is a day late is due to me being inflicted with a sudden desire to rewatch the first series, an act which first involved me trawling a bunch of stores looking for the UK release DVDs (which appear to be out-of-print at this point). I’m not one of these people who have felt the need to keep up a steady dose of Vitamin H over the intervening years, so, other than the novel a short while back, I’ve not really watched any of the show since shortly after it’s original run. The re-watch was a lot of fun.

(Plus this is, what, my third comic post on Haruhi-related subjects? Guess I need a new comicing topic for next week…)
