I already mentioned the shared cast members between iM@S DS and Kannagi the other day, but I figured I’d do the other half of the comparison as well.
Your costume choices in iM@S really do effect you performance, by the way – judging from Kannagi, I figure actually dressing as Zange would do serious damage to your vocal skills, and probably your dancing as well. It would perhaps not be an advisable thing.

Well, it helps to realize that V0 and V1 indicators are actually “Vo” and “Vi”, for Voice and Visual I suspect.

“Visual”, “Vocal” and “Dance” – the three disciplines in iM@S – the implication here is that by channelling Zange, her “Visual” stat get’s a massive boost (which is why her overall idol level jumps to “10″). Her Vocal and Dance stats also drop massively.
Yeah, it’s overally obtuse, in so much as you need to (a) know about iDOLM@STERs stats HUD, (b) know about Dearly Stars, (c) Know the voice actresses in Dearly Stars, (d) know how the stat’s work, and (e) have seen one of the two episodes of Kannagi in which Zange sings (the lyrics actually come from the last broadcast episode), hence know that she’s tone deaf.
All of which probably limits the comics audience to, well, myself ^^;
