Unfunny Internet Meme Comics #6-51

It’s the Bread Ring of Death!
I’m very, very sorry about that.
Anime blog topic of the day seems to be fanart, and the theft thereof, as put forth by the right honorable WAH and Hinano. Funny how those shouting about it the loudest are the one’s who can actually draw, isn’t it?
Actually, I’m pretty much in agreement, which is the main reason why this blog ended up being saturated with my own painful, painful art – I’ve made a point of only really using my own stuff, screencaps and, on occasion, official art. I mean, there’s the whole “they are posting it on the ‘net, so what do they expect” thing, but by that virtue, surely that means it’s OK to take the whole body of text from somebodies blog post and regurgitate it as my own? Not really, I’m sure it’d annoy the author of the original material – after all, it’s fine until it’s your own stuff getting swiped.
I’m sure someone can form some kind of logical argument as to why these aren’t really equivalent, but since I’m struggling to come up with a suitable difference, I’m not going to be that person. It’s kind of hypocritical for a lot anime fans to be talking about theft of artistic endeavours anyway ^^;

I visited Norwich a week or two ago and noticed a takeaway called Master Chef. I suspect it predates Halo — indeed, from the way it looked it might predate gaming.

When I first found out about Halo, I totally thought that his name was Master Chef and was totally confused as to why someone would name a video game hero that.

I also thought it was Master Chef originally. Weird.
