Marmalade Boy 29

Miki ANGSTs about having lost Yuus medallion at the end of the last episode. The guy who may-or-may-not have looked up her skirt (and picked up said medallion) is introduced as her co-worker, Kei, who proceeds to try and give Miki the cold treatment before breaking into hysterics and admitting her was only doing it because he finds Miki hilarious.

The shooting for the advert Yuu is appearing in is finally about to begin, and he get a look at the script. Yuus mother has been hiding something from him, knowing he would have turned it down if he knew in advance. Whats being hidden? Ah, it would be too easy to tell us now…

At school, Miki and Yuu spy on Satoshi and Meiko talking. Yuu reckons that Satoshi actually stands a chance with Meiko, whilst Miki believes that Meiko still loves Namura, and refuses to bet on it because it isn’t right. Ain’t that sweet of her?

Back at Bobsons, Miki and Kei chat a bit. It turns out that Kei is a year younger than Miki, but enigmatically doesn’t go to school at the moment. When Miki asks him if he has seen the medallion, he is about to tell her he has it only to stop when Miki blurts out that it belongs to her boyfriend!

Continuing the theme from episode 28, I’m finding too much unintentionally hilarious about the show at the moment. I mean, it would be far too easy to write down some stupid comments about the show when it comes up with shots like this…

It also made me want to make “Bear is driving! How can this be!” references, but I’m not going to stoop to that level ^_^
