This comic is in response to the English language news stories regarding one of the endings to 360 Hostess seducing game Dream C Club, in which the girl you attempt to score with goes off and marries her other boyfriend. As harsh an ending as it is, I’m sure it could get worse…

From what I gather, though, there’s a “better” ending for that character, presumably where you actually score with her rather than being dumped in the “friend” zone. My copy of the game hasn’t turned up yet, so I am yet to verify it. Honestly, I’ll probably end up not playing the game a whole lot – I’m buying it out curiosity as to how they’ve handled all the iM@S-cloned elements of it, but it looks otaku-pandery/fanservicey enough that it’ll probably grate on me too much to play for an extended period.

No comment regarding the whole ADV thing – the fact that Sentai have just announced they are pumping out five new licenses (including the still-airing Tears to Tiara) starting in November shows that, names aside, it seems to be pretty much business as usual for the foreseeable future.
