Ah, you can never reuse the same joke too many times. Well, okay, you can, but that’s not something that has stopped me at any point in the past, so why would I let it stop me now?

Anyway, onto other matters – I actually somehow managed to actually finish Mana Khemia, so that’s my gaming backlog reduced by one game. Shame I picked up the second Professor Layton to offset things, not to mention that iM@S DS should turn up any day now. I need to grab Persona PSP as well, come to think of it. The grind never ends. Maybe I should just stop buying stuff?

I have to admit, I was kind of tempted to jump straight into Mana Khemia 2 whilst I’ve got some momentum going, but then I thought better of it – playing more of what’s likely essentially the same game would probably be a little too much in too short a space of time, anyway. Plus todays mail seems to have added in excess of thirty episodes onto my anime backlog, so I figure I should think about tackling some of that at some point over the weekend.

I did take a break from Mana Khemia to tackle ODST midweek, which I guess is tangentially related to anime via that forthcoming Halo Legends thing, but is a game I don’t really have anything to say about. I am amused, however, by the fact that the excerpt from Halo Legends they chose to air on Spike TV in the US during their ODST Release Countdown evening thingie was one which just went to show exactly how much ODST guys suck in comparison to the Master Chief. One would have thought that would have kind of put people off playing ODST, except I’d think the only people watching such a show would be the people who would be picking up ODST regardless of such trivial issues.

Actually, I’m not really sure why I bought and played ODST – not only have I not gotten around to playing Halo 3, but I’ve not played Halo 2 either ^^;

Other news… I guess it’s worth mentioning that the second Haruhi novel is out in English now for those not keeping track of such matters – that’s The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya, the one which the non-Bamboo Leaf, non-Endless Eight episodes of the recent second season of the anime adapted (not that I’ve read it yet, as I’m still tackling Zoo). And speaking of things that WaH hasn’t been able to find, I’ve got the second volume of Bandai’s release of Synergy SPs version of Hayate to watch. Yay.
