Unfunny Internet Meme Comics #6-73

I can’t say I’m a massive fan of Sankaku Complex, but I have to admit that there’s a certain amount of admiration for the way that they seem to be getting to the point where they are the initial source of their own news items. The point in question is that one of the latest releases from the feminist group Equality Now (the one seemingly no-one in the universe had heard of until they started kicking up a fuss about eroge recently) is using quotes from the comments on Sakaku Complex, cited as being from internet bloggers (which, obviously, they aren’t they’re from commenters), to apparently prove their point ^^;

That said, I’m not about to start an internet flame war just to generate blog content – honestly, I have a hard enough time bringing myself to type the swears on the interwebs, yet alone saying something derogatory towards anyone other than myself. Guess I’m just going to have to keep struggling on.

A payback to DS for the last comment, I see.

As for the flame war, it does not need to be full of taboo words to rile people up. Insult something they fanboi about, like… what’s hot in this season? Beatrice raped by Battler? Obama raped by IOC? I’m just making shit up here, but you know what to do.

Why “P”?

It’s a throwback to a number of older comics, which in turn were throwbacks to the 4-koma’s posted on the official iM@S website on the build-up to the release of the first game on 360. Producer-san (the player character) appeared in those comics as a guy with only a “P” for a face – ergo the guy here is the producer of the comic series.
