I guess I’d be the first to mention that this comic is a little on the disingenuous side, in so much as I don’t actually mind the whole Endless Eight fiasco (I mean, I am spending money on the thing). When the alternative, however, is throwing together another Miracle Train comic, I figure the variation inherent in me riffing on the arrival of my copy of the first Endless Eight DVD is something to be welcomed. Not that I didn’t flog the dead horse of Endless Eight quite enough when it was airing, but I’ve proven nothing if not my ability to milk the same subject well beyond the point of humour or relevance.

Saying all that, though, now that the first volume of Endless Eight has arrived, I am now feeling a little trepidation about watching it – too much too soon, perhaps? We’ll see, I guess.

Oh, and just as a word of forewarning, I’m probably going to take a break from the comicing thing next week. I really need to recharge a bit at this point. If I was a proper webcomic or more motivated I’d have probably lined up some fabulous guest comics or something, but it’s not, and I’m so unbelievably, incredibly lazy. What I mean to say is, expect complete and utter radio silence for a whole week.
