Continuing on from Wednesday, the other thing about Tomo^1 getting shot which amuses is that Shuri (or is that Yukari, I forget) seems completely unable to actually damage anything in any useful fashion. Of course, that’s not really anything to do with her ability to actually hit a target – she manages to shoot Hiwako’s knife out of her hand just fine (though, you know, aiming for her head might have been more sensible given that she was massacring her friends), and as far as being one with the gun goes, she’s bloody made of them! Which may have been the actual punchline I wanted for this comic but couldn’t quite wrangle.

As much as I’d like to think it’s that all the characters (other than Tomo^1) have some kind of Fortune(from MGS2)-esque ability to swerve bullets away from themselves, it’s probably more to do with the heroes having a negative stat modifier when it comes to targeting people – they can’t actually be seen to deliberately kill someone, no matter how much sense it would make.That, and Shuri is also afflicted with the Not Protagonist character trait, meaning that she’s unable to do anything genuinely useful. Never mind, eh.
