The new Harry Potter covers sucks
Oh, man, the UK cover for the final Harry Potter book really, really sucks. After years of laughing at US fans over how awful their covers are, its like they’ve final gotten their revenge – the new US cover is actually kind of cool.
Really, what on earth is up with the Kung-fu pose Harry has going on there?
Anyway, I figured I could probably do better using just MS Paint…

The pose is one thing – but why is he looking like a 35-year-old? O_o And whose leg is there next to his hand? And why is that girl (…Hermione? I don’t read harry Potter) looking like she’s completely wasted?

wow. I personally think the US cover is worse. It’s so extremely boring. He’s just standing there. But I must admit that the UK cover is a little weird, what with harry aging 20 years alluva sudden.
