Speaking of Wrong: MariMite 4th Series

Okay, so they did yell “Onee-sama!” almost start to finish, but I wasn’t really paying attention anyway. There are evil shadows in my TV that need killing. I figured some would be curious about the OP though, so have at you!

Persona 4 references aside, I did watch the OP with mild interest and I have to admit, it raised an eyebrow. I mean, tempo in my MariMite opening? After two TV seasons of Pastel Pure variations, it just seems so inappropriate. Also, running? I thought walking slowly was preferred here? Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Oh, well, it doesn’t quite weird me out as much as the I”ve sound EDs for the OAV episodes, which just seem entirely out of place rather than just odd (though I admit, I did buy those CDs).

Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for my season 2 DVDs to turn up. Le Sigh.
